Brick, Block & Pavers

The Princeton PiggyBack® Delivery System is a proven method for delivering brick, block, & pavers that has revolutionized customer service and delivery efficiency.

PiggyBack Forklifts

The PiggyBack Concept

The Princeton PiggyBack Truck-Mounted Forklift is a proven method for delivery of brick, block, pavers, and other concrete products. Historically, materials were delivered to the edge of a site by a flat bed truck or truck-mounted crane. The customer then had to move the materials again to wherever the work was being done. The PiggyBack truck-mounted forklift enables your driver to spot-deliver materials precisely where your customer wants them, faster and easier, on virtually any work site with unmatched stability.

A PiggyBack can increase efficiency, not only by eliminating costly double-handling, but also by reducing delivery related product damage. It also is invaluable for pickups or for correcting misplacement of products on the job site.

PiggyBacks are available in many, different models with a wide range of available lift heights...capacities up to 7,000 lb... and other, special features that allow it to be configured to your specific delivery requirements. All PiggyBacks mount in less than a minute behind virtually any truck or trailer for easy transport to and from the job site.

If you currently use a tow-behind or trailered forklifts, you already recognize the benefits of having a portable unloading unit with your delivery vehicle. The Princeton PiggyBack Truck-Mounted Forklift provides all these benefits in a highly efficient package that eliminates the complications of towed vehicles.

The PiggyBack Solution

There are three, distinct PiggyBack models designed specifically for use in the delivery of brick and block. All these models can be equipped with brick or block forks for a variety of product applications.

PB50

The 5,000 lb capacity PB50 is the hands down favorite choice of the brick, block, and paver industries. It's rugged design, center seating make it ideal for most construction site delivery applications. The PB50 offers high horsepower, excellent ground clearance and Princeton’s exclusive Trac-Loc traction control system to tackle the roughest job sites. An optional brick & block package helps make handling cubed products easier on a job site.

PB80

The 8,000 lb capacity PB80 is designed for those who handle heavy, engineered or prefabricated products, or just simply need to handle more product at one time. As with the PB50, a Brick, Block, and Paver handling package is optional. This package features brick/block forks as well as a pre-cleaner intake filter and overhead weather shield. Also, like the PB50, the PB80 offers center seating to assure that your operator has a clear view of not only the load but also both front tires. This enables the operator to both position the load more accurately anywhere on the job site and minimize the chance of running over unforeseen obstacles.

PBX

The 5,000 lb. capacity PBX is the first unit in the industry equipped with a standard "Double Reach" feature. This unique feature, which adds an extending scissors reach system to the standard moving mast, doubles the length of the reach of the PBX across the bed. With the PBX, your driver now can unload an entire truck or trailer from one side, even from positions where tanks or tandems are located.

All Princeton units exceed ANSI stability standards for rough terrain forklifts.
